So I just upgraded into SL13 (as there does not seem to be a trial listed anywhere…) and was excited to check out the new Level Check Module. Had some questions quick observations as to how it functions (this is with only 1 layer, fresh file import):
- I get different readings for when I have no selection, versus the entire file selected. With silence at the top and a bit at then end of the file, this seems to skew the reading, and will report a lower sample and true peak, which is not correct.
2. When using the locators to jump the insertion playback to the location of the sample or true peak, I get drastically different results then what I would deem correct, or even remotely accurate. Screen shot attached is a marker where RX12 has correctly identified the right channel TP, and the playhead is where SL13 has identified the same value. This is constantly incorrect across every file I have tested so far.
Wondering if I am the only one with these observations, but these are effectively bugs IMO. Thanks
