Windows 11 pro 25H2 - Cubase 15 PRO - Spectralayers 13 PRO
It happened today not finding Spectralayers among ARA extensions. So then I had to resolve it manually copying spectralayers. vst3 folder into common files\vst3\Steinberg folder to have it working in Cubase.
Can someone explain or @Robin_Lobel why this happened and if there was a better way to fix it?
@Puli that vst3 is supposed to automatically install in common files\vst3 during the install of SpectraLayers Pro 13. Not sure why this wasn’t the case here.
I know and it was working (as ARA) just after the install, the day after this happened. Could be because I’ve unistalled SL 12?
@Puli Yes it’s because of that. There’s a single vst3 for all versions of SpectraLayers (so that projects edited with SL in ARA can be opened with any version of SL). So it’s best to first uninstall SL12, then install SL13.
