Spectralayers and Audiowarp best practise?

Hi all I’d like to quizz the experts on how you approach say cleaning up an acoustic guitar squeaks vs timing issues.

I found if I use AudioWarp to fix timing, then use Spectralayers, when I apply and go back my warp time markers are all over the place.

Best to first clean squeaks up then timing ?
I’m new to SL and still a bit confused by the workflow, I don’t do stem separation, only cosmetic repair on recordings.
Thanks in advance for any tips, I couldn’t spot anything useful on YT or here on the forum, I did look a bit.

TLDR: Do it either way around. But bounce your file after each operation.

More: For example. Fixing timing may change the position and signature of artefacts.

Fixing artefacts will affect timing calculation.

Both may be subtle, or not.

So do which ever works best for you but make sure you bounce / render / make permanent etc. before doing the other process.

If you’re worried about roll back ability, copy the track first.
