Right now, SL11’s AudioSuite bridge is the only one of my Pro Tools

AudioSuite options that I know of that doesn’t incorporate the handles when I’m working with audio, at least not in “create continuous file” mode on the Plugin. Is this option available somehow? I’d expect no handles if I was to send multiple clips in “clip by clip” mode.

I’m facing the same issue… I’m running Pro Tools 2024.10. with latest SL 11. I would really appreciate if Steinberg can address and fix this…

What does it mean exactly ? I don’t know Pro Tools that well.

We have handles built I. To anything being processed by Pro Tools. That means by default there’s 2 seconds of extra audio at the top and the tail of the files we process in Audiosuite. Right now, your software is greying that out and I think it might be the reason I get a click at the top of the odd file. When I send to RX it processes the whole selection, even the extra four seconds (2 seconds too and tail, handles). When I print back you only see the original selection but I can open up the clip by 2 seconds either side.

Thanks! It’s an integral aspect of Pro Tools. There’s a way to make these handles longer or shorter in the Preferences so it’s tied to that I believe.

@Damian_Kearns Please give SL 11.0.60.403 beta1 a try (macOS installer/Windows installer), it should allow you to use handles in Pro Tools now :slight_smile:
