Hi all, I’m hoping somebody can point me in the right direction as to why I’m experiencing this. I’m on an M2 Max with 96GB ram, on Mac osx 15.7.3, running the latest Cubase Pro 15.
All of a sudden, I’m experiencing major lag in the DAW. Like when I go up and down through tracks, it’s super delayed, with the spinning wheel of death. When I start to play MIDI on my keyboard, it takes like 5 seconds for the green audio to show up through the mixer tracks. What is causing this lag?
I have about 20 tracks in my template, but they are always disabled to start. Only when I enable 10 tracks or so does this issue start to happen. In my old template, I had 200 disabled tracks, and I never had this issue, and I have a fast computer, so I’m not really sure what’s going. Any tips or advice would be appreciated!
