I’m copying a simple but long study piece for piano, in 2/4, where the left hand plays 16th-note triplets throughout. Dorico, diligently, beams them by 6, that is by beat.
What are my options for leaving the RH as is and having the LH split?
Is there a “split adjacent tuplet” notation option? I’ve browsed Beam Grouping and Note Grouping without luck.
Is a local 4/8 hidden time signature (from the second bar onward) a viable option?
Thanks
If you don’t want to mess with hidden meters, you could manually beam a single bar, copy it n-times and then use Lock duration to re-pitch.
Indeed… but I’ve copied all notes already!
So there is no notation option for splitting adjacent tuplets.
Then a local 4/8 time signature will do the job.
