"split flow" loses music

I don’t really understand the circumstances, but I’ve attached a simplified document demonstrating the issue.

  1. Select bar line 17
  2. Run “split flow”

Result: Flow 2 has no music

The circumstances are that you’re doing this from a Custom layout, and the notes that are getting deleted don’t exist in a Full Score layout anywhere in the project. The team already know about this one, but in lieu of a fix, don’t use Split flow from Part/Custom layouts - use it from the Score layout.
