Split keyboard between two VSTs

Hi,

I want to use two different VSTs with different parts of my keyboard (piano and guitar for example).

I used the MIDI modifier (Notes filter) - and it works, but the tricky part if that I want to transpose the piano in one octave.
Doing that in the midi modifier is messing with the split (as the transposing happens before the note filtering),
and the piano VST (The Grand) does not have built in transposing.
Any ideas?

Hi,

With Cubase Pro, you could use MIDI Input Transformer, which is designed for these tasks.

With Cubase LE or AI, I would say it’s easier to split the keyboard on the hardware side.

Thanks. I’ll just update that I found a great (free) VST to do that, it’s called MIDI Polysher.
