Whenever I’m doing parts I normally check all the dynamics against the score because Dorico inadvertently creates minor inconsistencies. The frustrating thing is that it would be super convenient when doing this to simply have both of the layouts open in a vertical split. Using the vertical split feature seems to make the program think you are intending to edit both though - is there a way to have the vertical split be purely visual so that I can move things like tempo directions, slurs and dynamics without having to worry about what’s happening to the score?
For the record, I’m currently just creating a duplicate file for parts so that it’s not a major issue regardless, but it’d be nice to be able to do this.
