it seems like the split tool only “Cuts” on the Bar,…
Is there a way to get it to cut on the beat?
I am trying cut and paste a “pre-roll” part and paste that ful measure…
But it does not work
You can turn Snap off and split anywhere, or leave it on and adjust the quantize field to split accurately. Look for Snap On/Off and quantize field on the project window toolbar, explained 3/4 of the way down this page:
thanks so much. I knew it was possible but could not find out to add the “quantize” to the “split”.
