Splitting a stereo audio event into two mono events

I just got Nuendo 15 and what was super easy in N14 as per the topic title - select event, ctrl + right click, choose split and done has now turned, for me , into a mystery. Now I can no longer do this I have been trying to find out how. On line searches throw up a myriad of things that are simply inaccurate, the one method that ‘kind of makes sense’ going to the project menu /convert tracks applies to channels and NOT events. I cannot believe I am having to ask this here but how do I change a stereo audio event to two mono events. Thanks

Sheeesh, thank you! I kept being directed to the convert on the project menu which didn’t work for me! Going to miss the simple ctrl/right click split audio though! Guess I had better make a key command.
