Splitting beams in unconventional ways

Hello!

I want to split the beaming of the semi quavers into groups of three - I wonder if there is a way to do this?

Here’s a way: select the notes that you want to be beamed together, right-clicking with the mouse, under beaming, selection ‘beam together.’ Since I do it a lot, I’ve added key commands for this. You can do this from preferences/key commands/ etc… Hope that helps.
