How do I split a lyric across a tied note so that it signals the consonant to sound at the end of the tie? e.g. lo-st. I have the same situation in parallel verses on the same notes. I want the consonants to sound on beat 2 of the second bar, but if I try to split the minim into 2 tied crotchets, it changes it back. I want to playback properly as well, to cheating with a slur doesn’t work. The underscore is a temporary workaround, but I don’t like it. Thanks in advance.
