Hi, I’ve been using Cubase Elements 7 for 3 months now and I’ve learned a lot but I was wondering if there was a feature or quick way to take a midi track and split it quickly into separate tracks so I can easily mix drums or instruments notes seperately. Thanks in advance.

I think that’s what you’re looking for.
Select your midi part, pull down the midi menu and select dissolve part as jenks said… then you would choose by pitch if you were separating drums. Each pitch will go to a new midi track… Don’t forget to mute or delete your original track…
