SSD drives for system and libraries on new Mac ok?

SSD drives fast enough to have Mac OS and libraries on the internal SSD 4TB of a new Macbook Pro? I know with the “old” drives it was recommended to have system and sample libraries strictly separated, but I am wondering if this is over with the SSD drives. I mean there is no more mechanical action in the drives.

Anybody tried and any experience on that? Thanks in advance!

Mix away - there is no seek latency with an SSD, a DAW will get no-where near maxing out the bandwidth available to the average SSD. Having multiple drives is no longer relevant for performance reasons in DAW applications.

thank you!

any new experience on this?
