SSD FOR INTERNAL RECORDING

THIS IS MY SECOND MESS FOR SSD DRIVES , I KEEP GETTING GUESSES AND THOUGHTS BUT NOTHING CONCRETE!!! IS THERE ISSUES ON SATA 3 6G AS A RECORDING DRIVE… HICKUPS, STUDDERS, ETC, OR WHAT!!!1 NEED TO KNOW ASAP,I CANT BE BETTER THAN ALL OF YOU RIGHT ? SO SHARE!!! THANK YOU

Cubase is going to use ram first, and then the pagefile in windows.

You can move the pagefile manually.

But,

under “Support” on Steinberg.net
“DAW Components”
To quote:

“makes them the first choice for sample content streaming.”

There. Definitive answer.
SSDs are best used for sample streaming, not recording.

I personally am going to use a SATA3 SSD for this exact purpose in my DAW,

What the Hell do you want to know? Why would you have any issues? You do realize there are other places to do your research than here, right?

I don’t think a lot of people are using SSD as audio drive because the benefits don’t outweigh the cost.
