SSL UF-1 automation on Groups

Hi- I’m trying to use an SSL UF-1 for writing volume automation on Group Tracks with no luck as the fader keeps reverting to the original tracks that the Group is made of.

If anyone has had success with this, I would appreciate any input.

What are your settings in the MIDI Remote Mapping Assistant? In C15/W10, automating the volume of a group track using MR works without any problems.

Thanks very much for your reply and information, ASM. I’m on a Mac so the Mapping Assistant looks different if this is the same thing:

It’s odd in that I see no script info for the UF1 but am wondering if this is all handled through the 360 software? Anyway, many thanks and if you have any other thoughts on this I would appreciate your input.

Are you using a ssl plugin on the group channel? Maybe just the link plugin set to daw mode?

Thanks for your reply, I appreciate it. I was able to, with the help of SSL Tech, sort out that for some reason, older Groups (pre the latest 360) had an issue with it and creating new Groups worked for whatever reason so now everything is working as expected. Thanks again!
