Hi,
When programming a staccato in a custom expression map, Dorico does not trigger the staccato. Every other expression map (tremolo, pizz, natural, etc) works - including staccatissimo.
What note durations are you trying to make staccato and what is your setting in Playback Options>Timing>Note Durations?
Does this option affect wether Dorico triggers a staccato keyswitch? And if so, I don’t understand why, since it should just trigger the staccato sample anyway regardless of for how long the duration of the note is.
Yes. If you don’t find it useful, just untick it.
