I’m working on an arrangement where I want the piano to play staccato tenuto over an extended passage. What I’d like to be able to do is this:
- Write it out on two bars.
- Add a “simile” text from the third bar on.
- Add a “staccato tenuto” playing technique from the third bar on that I can hide.
The problem is that “staccato tenuto,” although it’s a defined articulation in Dorico, doesn’t appear in the dropdown menu when I’m trying to create a new playing technique (see arrow). FYI I’m working in NotePerformer. Any suggestions? Thanks! — PL
