I use a VST as amp simulator. Typically, I use one sound per song (with some variation like a boost for solos). But it seems like stacks can only be set up per part or globally, not per song. I could obviously do it per part but then I would need to change all song parts for every change I make.
How do you guys handle this?
Search the vst live forum for “shared layers”. There are a few ppsts which should point you in the right direction.
Thanks for info about shared layers. But I was actually after shared stacks, so that all parts of a song can have the same amp simulation for my guitar. How do y’all handle that kind of situation?
Why not using Global Stack(s) a few and automating(preset/bypass/etc) the insert plugins?
