Is there a way to get Dorico to remove the period in the instrument library on staff labels. Seems like the only options are “Always add period” or “Add period if abbreviation does not end with final letter”. For instance, in a baroque quartet, if I wanted the abbreviation for Alto to be the letter A with no period. Is there a way to have that period removed in the instrument library so it comes into the score that way and I don’t have to remove it in Setup Mode? It seems to show back up if I delete it.
