Is it possible to edit the initial staff label in Condensed scores so that they will appear on two lines. I am thinking of a score that has “Bassoon 1 and Bassoon 2 & Contrabassoon,” for example. I apologize if this has been asked and answered in the past; I didn’t see it.
Hi @syrdavid, you can assign the Player name as a Label for a specific Player, in a specific Layout, only for the first System: Layout Options> Stave and Systems > Staff Labels (in this case it creates a quite long label, though…*):
(*) You could put a line break in the Player name (editing the name in a text editor and pasting it into the rename player dialogue):
