The instrument name in the marked section should display as Clarinetto in C I / II , but it only shows up like that. How can I make the key signature name display as well?
It doesn’t show up even when abbreviated.
I want the above.
2. If I use condense, can’t I edit it in the page view?

It seems that there is a space character after the first Clarinetto according to the screenshot.
The spelling of the instruments must be exactly the same (including the transposition setting in the dialog window) to be joined.
Yes, you can’t edit condensed staves.

Clarinet
If you mean Italian Clarinetto set the instrument names language to Italian in Engraving Options > Language
And to show the transposition the requested way make these settings in Layout Options > Staves and Systems

I followed the method you provided, but it didn’t change.
Is it best to turn on Condense at the very end after completing the task?

There is still a whitespace character at the end of clarinetto I. You can see it in the white area.
Edit the name.

Thank you.
1. The name has been changed to Soo-jung, but the numbers I and II are not appearing.
2. Does the staff label automatically display the staff name without needing to input it separately?

The numbers are supposed to be displayed automatically. The setup has to look like
I recommend to reassign the instruments.

1. Do I need to add more staves and reconfigure the instruments?
2. The abbreviated part in the marked area does not match.
Cor I
(Re) II
This is what I want to happen.
3. I’m trying to add a brace to Corno, but it’s not working. How should I set it up?

Where can I change/reassign the instruments to reset the settings to default?
Even after posting #4 , the barce still doesn’t appear.

You can also Reset Instrument Names in Menu Setup in Setup Mode.

When I check the ‘Display’ option, parenthesis appear for both ‘First system’ and ‘Subsequent systems’. However, brackets should only appear for ‘abbreviated’. How can I fix this?

There is an option to display the player name rather than the instrument name for the first system. Maybe you can’t show the transposition on an extra line but it could be a solution.

Are you referring to the method above?

No, I’m referring to Layout Options > Staves and Systems > Staff Labels (the same section as the mentioned screenshot in post#4).

If this is what you want:
Show the transposition in Full labels and not in abbreviated ones:
And edit the short name in Edit Instrument Names:
(But so many questions here, I’m a bit lost!)

Thanks.
1. I followed the method you provided, but it shows up like the orange mark. The character keeps appearing duplicated. How do I fix this?
2. I reset the Tromba in La to Trumpet A, but something completely different appears, as shown by the yellow mark.
How do I fix it?

Are you sure you unticked Pitch & Transposition > Show in abbr. staff labels?

I’m not sure I understand. Do you want the two condensed instruments to have different names?
