Staff Labels not the same from page to page

Hello everyone,

I am working on a musical theater full score with a handful of vocals. So let me describe what I would want in a perfect world:

1 x Lead Vocal Staff

4 x Ensemble Vocal Staves

This, with the ability to force hide/collapse whatever staves aren’t being used on a page-by-page basis.

The issue I run into is that I am unable to get unity in my Staff Labels.

I’ve tried two ways: with separate single players (with the redactions in white below) and then with putting those players into groups (with the redactions in black below).

Either way, I come up with issues. I just want it to be like the version with redactions in red (which i poached from Finale).

Advice?

I would think different layouts for different options would do what you appear to want. (Of course I may not understand what you are trying to accomplish.)

Sadly no, I just wish there was an ability to be able to not have one staff label be present over multiple staves
