Staff Labels Outside of Margins

I see that staff labels are confined to music frames, and I want to support the request for allowing them to the left of the margin. For a piano duet in score form, I typically will have I and II to the left while still aligning the left bar line with the margin. I suppose I can add extra margin to the page templates and move any text over by that much, or add the labels as text after the music is laid out.

Let me know if I am missing an option that will achieve this without these work-arounds.

Hi @gplumblee if you need the changes to have more space in general, you can use the Page margins, instead of the Music frames margins. Try out to reduce/adapt the Left and Right margins (in Same mode) or the Inside Outside margins (in Mirrored mode):

Thanks Christian! I did do this, and for the II label, I subtracted 7pts from the margin. Then, I needed to add 7pts to the text boxes of page number, title, copyright, and edition number. This works.
