It’s been 10 years since the original post, and I believe the solution I suggested a practical and mutually beneficial path forward. I’ve submitted a feature request to both StaffPad and Steinberg: ARA Integration Between StaffPad and Cubase/Nuendo.
This integration could greatly enhance the workflow between expressive handwritten composition and advanced DAW production.
