Hi guys, sorry for this very stupid question.
I’m just helping my dad with some settings and there is something that I can’t understand.
Everything started with his wish to change the key of a midi track he was adding.
I know there are a lot of things to understand and even differences between specific Cubase versions but there is something that I really can’t understand.
In the manual(Elements manual) it’s written:
to open the Staff Settings dialog, double-click in the area to the left of the staff, or select a staff and select MIDI->Scores->Staff Settings.
Ok, now, are we sure this is referred to this version? Elements 9 ???
Because when I open the … Score editor I think it’s called… sorry I’m Italian : ) … well, if I click to the left of the staff nothing happens and if I look for a Midi menu, I just see it between Audio and Media (is that it?) and there is no Scores–> Staff settings there.
What am I missing?
BTW is there a way to change the “key” of a track?
In the Midi menu, I can transpose but it moves just the notes and not the key of the track.
Sorry for the question… and thanks in advance : )
