Is it possible to space staves in scroll mode?
Yes, there’s a setting in Layout Options for how much space is given between spaves in Galley View.
Obviously, it doesn’t do ‘collision avoidance’, because it’s potentially checking for ‘low fruit’ on every stave across the whole flow.
In layout option it’s just about the “page view”
Mostly, not all. Layout Options > Vertical Spacing > Ideal Gaps > In Galley View, expand ideal staff gaps allows you to globally widen the staff spacing in Galley View.
Really really really wish there was a setting to adjust this per staff… Some just way more room than others… most percussion staves are pretty compact, whereas 3 ledgers lines either side of the staff is routine in the strings.
