Staff spacing- break ff

The “ff” marked below should appear correctly, but if I drag the line below upward, the “ff” at the marked spot becomes garbled.

In other words, the bottom part of “ff” is broken, as shown in the purple section in #3. How can I fix this?

Isn’t it a blank object attached to bar 113?

Can you zoom-in and try to select it, in order to see what it is (and to delete it)? Or select around the ff and filter > deselect only > dynamics.

It’s not at bar 113; it’s attached to the bar above it.

OK, but what is it? Do you need it?

This issue does not occur when I perform the same operation randomly in a new file.

In the Unis./System Break View, I can see that the gray area extends all the way to the side. However, in the problematic file, it seems that the FF is being cut off because of the white area.

I’m not sure I understand, sorry… But my question was: isn’t it possible to select this blank line? Is it something you created intentionally at some point?

I think it’s because of the “Unis.” label.

The blank line wasn’t something I created; it appeared unintentionally.

Perhaps you should post the Dorico file, or an excerpt therefrom.

Please try to select it and check what the status bar says.

This is the status bar, at the bottom left of the window:

I resolved the issue by moving the “Unis.” label.

Thanks.
