I’m wondering if there’s a way to create visibility presets in Galley View—or Page View, if necessary—that allow me to quickly show a specific set of staves and hide the others.
For context: I have four grand staves at the bottom of the score that I use for sketching. It would be incredibly helpful to create a preset that shows only the sketch staves and, say, the woodwinds—or the sketch plus the brass, and so on—without having to manually scroll up and down, which becomes confusing when working with large orchestral scores.
Is there any functionality like this, or a workaround you’d recommend?
On the top left of the galley view, you will find the instrument filter overlay. Click on the 3 dots, and create the custom combination that you need. Name it as you wish.
