Stampa fronte retro

Hello everybody,
I have several A3 printers that allow double-sided printing. I always have a problem when I have to print more than 2 pages. Why do you print double-sided without having it activated by Dorico?
In other software it doesn’t happen. It is really annoying.
Thank you

Patrik, I suppose your question might be How do you print double-sided without having it activated by Dorico?
One possible way would be to export your layouts as .pdf files and do the imposting with an external application. I used “Cheap Impostor” for a while.
But also in Dorico it should be possible, if you have the driver for your printer properly installed.
In Dorico it is called Booklet printing:

Which is your A3 printer model?

My printer is a kyocera p4140dn. I’m already exporting the pdf to then print them. There remains the problem of two-sided printing when not required.
Thanks

Patrick, thank you for your reply.
It does not become clear, which process you are using for printing:

a) from Dorico: export to .pdf, then do the physical printing with an external pdf application.

or
b) use Doricos Print Mode to access your printer from within Dorico.

In case b) Dorico offers a lot of settings to print Spreads (2 in su), Booklets (libretto) etc.
The procedures are quite well documented in the help manual, which also exists in Italian:
