Start ID's - Markers - for CD Creation

In Cubase 6 how can I put on “Start ID’s” ( Maybe there called Markers)
for a CD of say 10 songs. A few of the songs have crossfades,
others start and end almost simultaneously with no Gaps.
I’ve been searching for info on REDBOOK CD creation
and subcodes but have run into a brick wall.
