When recording a retake, is it possible to start the recording on the beginning of the selected range? Something like I can play starting at 5sec but not recording and as I pass to 7sec it will automatically start recording. Or any tips or alternatives on retakes on one track before applying crossfades.
This is what the “punch in/out” recording feature will do.
