Starting a project with 1 unmetered bar

When using Dorico Elements 6 I want to start a new project with 1 unmetered bar. Can I do that and save it as a new project option?

Isn’t that how all projects start? (Outside of using the wizard in the Hub.)

If you untick Time Signature here, Dorico should remember it for all future projects (provided you create your projects using this tool).

No. When I open new “Empty” project it opens as 6 bars 4/4. I have to set up new project with 1 bar without time signature manually. Then I saved it as “1 Bar Unmetered”.

Note that if you use cmd+N to create your new file (or the File menu), it should appear as you wish (that’s how it always appeared before version 5 IIRC)
