Cubase 12.0.0 Build 205 [Setup Windows Layout] Status Line - Disable does not work (PC)
Disable the Status Line does not work correctly… Gets always enabled again on start or Save.

Status line opens itself since update to 11.0.20

Confirmed here on Windows 10 20H2 and C11.0.20. Repro: Open a project – the status line appears Close the status line Save the project – the status line reappears! Close status line Save the project – the status line does not reappear Close the project Open the same project – the status line appears GOTO 2

Could it be due to the notification it furnishes when no audio Inputs/Outputs are connected? This is new from a few years ago

Doesn’t matter if any audio outputs are connected. I think that’s a GUI xml semantic error. The “StatusLine” xml definition is used in another option/flag context as well. Doesn’t happen to Cubase 11 pro.

The status line will automatically show up when inputs or outputs are not connected. I.e. when you have the Control Room enabled, but no outputs connected to the Monitor.

I did the following: open Cubase (not loading a project), F4 and check the Control Room outputs, close Cubase and re-open, F4 to check again that the setting has “stuck”, and the problem no longer occurs.
