Status Line issue

I know it’s a little bit too late for upgrading to cubase 14 now, but recently I just started using 14, I was using cubase 10 before.

I got a really annoying issue that’s the “status line”, I disable it but it keeps popping back up after a few move and clicks.

It’s really annoying, cuz i just simply don’t need the imformations it shows, and I prefer having a bigger editing space.

I looked for an answer but there’s nothing.

Is this an bug? or is there a solution for this?

Hi,

If you activated your Cubase 14 license recently, you can also use Cubase 15 thanks to the Steinberg grace period. Check your Steinberg Activation Manager to see which license you really have, please.

Regarding the status line, double-check all the connections is correct.

Do you use control room or not?

Do you have any orange messages in the status line?

I disable control room.

Yes there’s some orange messages, mainly it’s the audio input section shows “not connected” with orange text, but I’m just editing audio not recording, I don’t need my tracks connected to any input.

But when I clicks on instrument or midi tracks, there’s no orange messages, the status line still pops up.

I disable the status line but it pops up just after a few clicks, i didn’t even close and reopen the project.

Hi,

In this case, you can just remove the Input bus.

Do you mean uncheck input on the left zone?

Hi,

No, I mean to remove the Input bus in the Studio > Studio Setup > Audio Connections.

oh I see, but I can’t find a way to remove input bus when I right click on it, I can only change inputs preset.

And the pop up also happens when I’m focusing on midi tracks which has no audio input(only has instruments input if I’m not misunderstanding anything from the experience of using cubase 10).

but I accidentally found out that if I uncheck audio input of status line, then close status line, it hasn’t pop back up so far.

Hi,

Right-click on the buss name, please.
