Status Update on Nuendo 13 / Cubase 13 for visual accesbilitly issues

Is there any status update for people who can not use Nuendo 13/ Cubase 13 because of the visual accessibility issues that it is causing for some? It has been almost 4 months.

In all the time I’ve been using software nearly no developer made such an announcement with certainty. It’s impossible to keep time related promises in regards to development.

There is certainly an update coming, search the forum SB staff has said as much.

The massacre is major. It takes a long time to repair! - Seriously, SB can’t go wrong twice. He’s got to get it right, so he’s taking his time.

But, between you and me, what’s stopping you from going back to N12 or C12 in the meantime?

That’s what I have been doing is using the lower versions, But when you pay money for a product(s) you do kind of want to use it, at least I do. Also it makes you look kind of bad when your Client(s) ask you questions about the new version(s) and you can’t answer them because you can’t use them but you refereed all of them to use Steinberg products over the competition. But I will just continue to wait.

That’s right. Hence the bitter disappointment. But just the Cubendo team, not SB in general here. Dorico is exemplary in its development. I can’t say I love the interface aesthetically, but it’s consistent and clear, so all is well. The rest is secondary. The same cannot be said of Cubendo’s interface, which looks like a 3- or 4-tiered cake with different materials, N13 having added yet more. There are, however, some great successes, that’s for sure. The problem is one of visual consistency. And, with N13, also a conceptual misdirection in terms of computer graphics, where there’s overload as well as homogenization, making it an inextricable forest. But let’s give the runner a chance.

That’s funny. In all the years I’ve been producing music nobody has ever asked me what version of a software I am using. All they ever cared about was if the final product/mix sounded great. How I got there was never an issue.

You do know there are many different type of clients one can work with correct? I work with two type of clients. 1 clients that book studios sessions. No issue there and 2. Clients that I deal with visual accessibility issues and education. Now when the 2nd type of client I’m working with is using a new version of a program and ask me question about features that I am not familiar about because I can’t use the new versions it makes me look unprofessional. Hope that clears. it up for you.

Not at all. It sounds like your clients are more advanced at using the program than you. I’m curious what you said in the two posts you deleted. I can see you deleted them.

When it comes to 13 they are because they can use it I can’t with my visual accessibility issues. So you basically said the same thing I’ve been saying…
