Hi everyone, after I imported the music from a mxl file, dorico hides a stave in 2 points of the score. I forced the stave to be shown and turned condensing off. Any suggestions?
According to the signpost “Systemumbruch + Zeilensichtbarkeit” there are manually hidden staves. Do they appear if you delete the signpost?
You can also select an item on a staff and then check the settings in Edit > Notations > Staff > Manual Staff Visibility (in the German version: Bearbeiten > Notationselemente > Notenzeile > Manuelle Notenzeilen-Sichtbarkeit).
Dear Martin, no they won’t appear if I delete the sign. I tried exactly the way you suggest:
Edit > Notations > Staff > Manual Staff Visibility (in the German version: Bearbeiten > Notationselemente > Notenzeile > Manuelle Notenzeilen-Sichtbarkeit).
Hm, ok. What are the staff visibility settings in the Layout Options of the affected layout (Bibliothek > Layout-Optionen > Vertikale Abstände > Notenzeilen-Sichtbarkeit)?
Could you post a reduced version of your file so that we can have a look at the settings?
The blue flag “Zusammenführungsveränderung” shows that we are dealing with a “Condensed Score”or better a Score in condensed view.
And the flag shows a manual override.
*ps.: lets not talk about this translation, in the back of my head it says there must be a better way to describe it in the German language. [end Off Topic]
