Hey everyone,
I am writing an orchestral score and, for the most part, all of the default staff spacing is totally fine; however, every once in a while a page will have all the staves extremely close together and I know how to remedy this or what is causing it to act this way…
Would anybody happen to have come across this before?

It’s because your frame isn’t full enough to trigger justification (according to your settings).
Go to Engrave mode and look down the bottom-left of your page. You will see a green (or red) box containing a percentage. This is the Frame Fullness Indicator and tells you how full the frame is.
You can change your justification percentages here (see Step 5):
