It is with great sadness that I must let you know that Steinar Gregertsen, a fantastic guitarist and recording artist died, losing his battle with cancer.
For those that remember him from these forums, he was not only a talented musician, but a genuinely wonderful, helpful and kind person.
Sorry to be the bearer of such sad tidings.

I found out yesterday. And it was a real shock.
Steinar did such an amazing job on the lead guitar on the title track of my album, he was such a talented musician, and a real gentleman. It was an honour to have him play.
It was all the more shocking to hear, because it seems for the most part he had kept his condition very much to his self.
Rest in peace Steinar. Your memory will live on in your music.
I heard about this earlier too, and remember Steinar, so sad to hear this
