Hi all,
I had to completely wipe my Mac drive today, the system was just not working anymore for whatever reason.
I am in the process of reinstalling everything.
So… I go to install Steinberg download Assistant.
- It has to operate under Rosetta. Really.
- Even though I erased all content and assigned a new Target Folder, everything indicated that I can “install again.” On a new system. With nothing installed in it, and no target folder. So I had to MANUALLY tell it to “erase” the downloaded files, even though they do not exist. What is that all about?
This stinks. Please Steinberg, get a Mac Silicon compatible Download Assistant. And make it one that actually recognizes when things are not installed at all. There is no way to refresh the software, you have to click on each and every single item, one by one, to be able to actually install it new.
Thanks.
