Does anyone know how to get rid of the programs i don’t use or doesn’t have licences anymore ?
Hi,
this tab shows all products that are licensed under your current account. If you want to get rid of them you might have to sell them. The Steinberg Download Assistent simply shows all products which refer to a legitimate licensed in your account including previous versions of a product (e.g. older Cubase versions).
I am not aware of a way to filter the products shown in this tab, sorry.
I actually don’t own nuendo 13 as i have sold it but how come it’s on my product tab?
I have no idea to be honest. As far as I understand, the ‘My Products’ tab should only list products that you are eligible to use (products you actually own). There are also a bunch of redundant entries in the Activation Manager that bother people on a regular basis. Maybe it has something to do with that?
It seems like the Steinberg Download Manager Assistent works in mysterious ways. It’s not the first time that we don’t fully understand how the SDM SDA works.
Hopefully, someone else can provide a better explantion than that!
What is this SDM? There is the Steinberg Download Assistant and the Steinberg Activation Manager…are you mixing them up for fun?
No, that was an honest mistake. I am always having a hard time remembering the correct names. The ‘Activation Manager’ is often referred to as ‘Steinberg Activation Manager’ or SAM but in reality it’s just ‘Activation Manager’.
I will correct my post above accordingly. Of course, it’s the ‘Steinberg Download Assistant’ ![]()
Thanks for poiting this out ![]()
Steinberg Downloader for Masochists.
It’s complicated
Anyone from the support knows this issue?
sorry, I was sadly unable to control my attempt at humour. That said, I personally use SDA and SAM acronyms.
