I would like to update Dorico through, The steinberg download assistant but it is hanging every time I run it.
That’s the first it does that !
Any suggestions?

try to download the newest version of the SDA from here:
See if it helps.
If not, you could theoretically download the software without assistant:

Did you completely and totally remove the app and restart before installing the latest? If not, please try that - delete, reboot, install.
Can you ping the site it uses? Perhaps have to ask @dspreadbury what that is.
I don’t use Mac. Is it possible that it is firewalled?
On the Mac you don’t need to delete/restart for using the SDA. @Sebastien_JAMES , you could try downloading the components without SDA (second link I provided). That should also work.
Sebastien, are you trying to update from version 6.0.10 to 6.0.20? Or have you bought the upgrade from Dorico 5 to Dorico 6?

Sebastien, have you tried my second suggestion? It completely omits the SDA and any possible problems with it.
If you have a fast internet connection, it works as well as the standard route.

So maybe for the next updates I will do the same.m if SBA is still having issues.

I have the same issue. The download assistant never works, even after reinstalling everything.
Frank, please zip up the Download Assistant folder in ~/Library/Application Support/Steinberg and attach it here. Hopefully the logs contained within will give us a clue as to what’s happening on your system.
