I run Steinberg Download Assistant, and I click “Enter your Download Access Code”.
When I write the first number in the small window for entering the code, a new window shows a Java error.
Is it a bug or is something wrong in my computer?
I am running Macos Monterey 12.6.1 on a macbook pro retina mid 2015.

It certainly seems like a bug. You should be able to enter your Download Access Code here if SDA doesn’t work for you.
