Steinberg Download Manager failed to download Dorico

Hi,

I’ve purchased Dorico since the 1st version, and I like using it. Unfortunately, 4 days ago my SSD is crashing and as the result I lost my Dorico installation. I have since buy a new computer and currently trying to re-install Dorico.

I tried to download Dorico using the Steinberg Download Manager in this link :

http://download.steinberg.net/downloads_software/Dorico/Win/Steinberg_Download_Assistant_1.4.6_Installer_win.exe

The Steinberg Download Manager seems to work fine, however, as the Dorico download completed - it only shows that it’s failed. I’ve tried 3 times with the same result.

I also came to this thread :

http://download.steinberg.net/downloads_software/Dorico/Win/Steinberg_Download_Assistant_1.4.6_Installer_win.exe

and tried to download from the direct link from Daniel, however when I tried to unzip the file, some sounds cannot be extracted.

Is there any other way to download Dorico and reinstall (and re-activate) it in my new computer?

My computer is using Windows 10 64 bit version, with Intel i5-7400 and 16 GB of RAM, so I dont think that the computer is the issue.

Thanks a bunch,

Nicholas Rio

I’m really sorry to hear you’re having problems re-downloading Dorico. I don’t know which other thread you found, but I guess you found the link to the Windows download – here it is again, in case it wasn’t the most up-to-date release:
