Steinberg Library Manager 3.2.50 build 300 on my MAC cannot find libraries. It displays the message No Library found. When using version 3.0.23 everything is fine. When the Steinberg Download Assistant is started, it automatically updates to the latest version, i.e. v3.2.50. I spent all afternoon restoring the "repaired missing " libraries.
Did you reset the paths to the Libraries one by one in the Library Manager? If so and this happens again you can quickly fix them in bulk. In your OS navigate to wherever your Libraries are stored. Then just double+click on any .vstsound file. This will launch the Library Manager and register that Library plus any other .vstsound files it finds in that Folder plus any sub-Folders.
can you post the paths annd ownerships? open terminal and navigate to the path and type
ls -las
I have made a symbolic link from /Library/Application\ Support/Steinberg/Content to an external drive lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel Content → /Volumes/JB-2TB/Steinberg/Content
Defaut location is set n /Volumes/JB-2TB/Steinberg/Content/VST Sound.
I tried to register fo example ./Content/Padshop/VST Sound/FCP_SMT_113_Padshop.vstsound
And the following happened:

Removed the source library then tried to create a create symbolic link to the deleted source. Just a jerk.
