Steinberg Mobile Instruments Survey

Dear all,

After releasing our first mobile instruments for iOS and Android, we’d love to better understand which instruments you would like to see in the future.

We’ve prepared a short survey, and your feedback will help shape our roadmaps.

You don’t have to log in to participate, and your responses will remain anonymous.
The survey ends on Thursday, March 26, 2026.

We’d be very happy if you could support us by taking part!

Thank you,
Lars

I would love to see traditional Chinese musical instruments added to Cubasis, including Guzheng, Dizi, Pipa, Yangqin and Erhu.

thx

Done filling in the survey hoping at least some of the suggestions materialize within a year or two :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Christmass is around the corner :winking_face_with_tongue:

To me nothing would be remotely as important as an iPad version of the new Cubase Drum Track, or a Groove Agent 6 version.

My interest in other instruments is not even a fraction of this one, and without such a Drum Track on the level of Cubase functionality Cubasis will only be used half as much here, as it would be with proper drum programming.

Everyone who’s been following this forum for a while knows my primary wish is to get the full ‘Cubase Sampler Track’ ported over to Cubasis to make sampling fun again…

From how i see the survey…

They are working on Groove Agent / Backbone and they have room for 1 more VST library in the coming update at the end of this year.

Halion or Halion Sonic (as fully as possible) as an AUv3, for IOS, with the ability to bring sampling
presets made on Halion7 desktop setups to the Ipad. It would fill a pro-sampler void in
the IOS world.

Also the VST Live Host app, over from desktop, (again, as fully as possible)! :+1:

thanks!
