I would like to know whether Cubasis 3.8.5 includes Chinese musical instruments, such as the guzheng, dizi, erhu, yangqin, pipa and so on. If not, is it possible to add them? Thank you.
GarageBand is actually the most convenient option if you want the five instruments you mentioned.
Apple’s Chinese-instrument content includes:
- Erhu — playable instrument
- Pipa — playable instrument
- Guzheng — Chinese-instrument loops/content
- Dizi — Chinese-instrument loops/content
- Yangqin — Chinese-instrument loops/content
Apple added these specifically to GarageBand for iOS, including expressive techniques for erhu and pipa.
It would be great if these five Chinese instruments from GarageBand could be ported to Cubasis for Android, as I often create backing tracks for ancient‑style Chinese songs.

While we appreciate your interest in these instruments, it is unfortunately not possible for us to port the Chinese instruments included with GarageBand to Cubasis for Android, as these sounds are proprietary Apple content and are not available for use in third-party applications.

Cubasis allows you to import supported audio files, such as loops and samples. In addition, the included MiniSampler lets you create your own instruments from imported audio material.
If you are using Cubasis for iOS, you may also want to explore other available third-party sampler apps, which may offer more advanced features compared to the basic MiniSampler feature set.

Could the notepad function be expanded to hold more text, around 1,000 words? Also, it should stay on top of the screen and not close when switching to other functions. It should only close when the exit button is pressed.
This way I can type lyrics into the notepad while recording songs. I won’t need to memorize lyrics, which will save a lot of time. Memorizing lyrics also affects singing performance. I hope this feature can be added. It would be a really great improvement. Thank you.
Could you add a function to align notes by the highest note within the Piano‑Roll editor? For example, I have a single fixed note for which I want to write a chord. I draw two additional notes and move them to lower positions. I want these three notes to form a chord, while keeping the position of the highest note unchanged.
When I select all three notes, if there were an “Align to Highest Note” option inside the quantize function, I could align them precisely to form the desired chord without shifting the top note. This would greatly reduce my workload. Dragging notes manually for alignment is very difficult and time‑consuming. Thank you.
