Initial impressions are that the interface is solidly built. The edges are a touch sharp and could be rounded a bit. I would also like to see this interface in a smaller form and perhaps bus powered. The technology is there to do it, so I am not sure why Steinberg would not take advantage of that.
I would also like to see USB and Thunderbolt 3 ports on the unit, as I think it is time that those two connectors are standard.
It would be nice if Steinberg actually wrote in house drivers. I just ran these latency tests and the results are mediocre:/
