Steinberg UR22mkii keeps uninstalling when booting up cubase

Hi guys

I recently installed cubase and it was running for a few weeks. Then it suddenly uninstalled my Steinberg UR22mkii drivers. When I install them (and it works on my system as normal speakers), as soon as I open cubase it says “Cubase has detected that new audio drivers are available on your computer. Please select the audio driver for the audio hardware that you want to use with Cubase.” When I select Steinberg Ur22mkii it says it can’t find the hardware.

Setup:

  • Cubase 10
  • Steinberg UR22mkii
  • Yamaha P-125 keyboard
  • iMac Pro 2017

Additional information - when I close and re-open an error comes up “Missing Ports” and says the “Steinberg UR22mkii R” is Unmapped.

Help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks guys
Andrew

Hi,

It seems, the driver has not been installed properly.

Make sure you have the latest udpate installed. Unzip the installer and install from the unzipped folder. Install as administrator.
